British volunteers have provided 11 vehicles to support the defense forces, according to the official website of the Lviv City Council.
The vehicles were supplied by the volunteer community "Driving Ukraine," which, over the course of the full-scale war, has delivered over 160 vehicles and more than 50 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
This time, the vehicles included new transport, such as pickup trucks and evacuation vehicles. The vehicles will be distributed among various units, including:
- The 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel;
- The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr the Great;
- The 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade;
- The Main Intelligence Directorate;
- The 414th Separate Rifle Battalion of the 43rd Separate Mechanized Brigade.
"We have brought evacuation vehicles to the Rynok Square, including an armored Land Rover, ambulances, and casevac vehicles. These vehicles are for the 67th, 53rd, and 24th brigades, as well as other units," said Maksym Sosliuk.
According to the organization, the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Galician Brigade, 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Unmanned Systems Forces, 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense have frequently received transport.
In addition to "Driving Ukraine," pickup trucks were also purchased as part of the "Pickups for Peace" charity campaign, funded by British farmers for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
