Centravis Production Ukraine (Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region), part of the Centravis Ltd. holding, presented two projects totaling $14.5 million for production modernization and expansion of pipe manufacturing at the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2025), held July 10–12 in Rome.
According to the company’s project catalog at URC, the first project concerns the oil and gas pipe segment (OCTG). It involves the development and supply of seamless pipes and stainless steel pipes meeting the 25 CRA (corrosion-resistant alloy) standards, primarily targeting the rapidly growing carbon capture and storage (CCS) infrastructure market in the US and Europe.
The project includes acquiring new equipment to produce pipes, couplings, and casing columns for CO2 or oil wells according to API 5 CRA standards. Pipe diameter ranges from 60 mm to 240 mm, length from 11 to 13 meters, with a wide range of wall thicknesses.
Target markets: carbon capture application in the US and Europe; oil and gas in the US, Europe, and the Middle East.
The project scope is defined, and a preliminary tender process for budget preparation has been completed. The project is ready for implementation. Equipment installation is planned at Centravis’ hot workshop in Nikopol. API 5 CRA licensing is expected by the end of 2025.
Total project budget: $11 million, with $10 million to be raised.
Expected financial indicators: net present value (NPV) – $13.3 million, revenue in 2030 – $45 million, EBITDA in 2030 – $18 million.
Project launch timeline: two years.
By 2025, $0.1 million has been invested in concept development and technical design; $0.3 million is required this year for design; $4.6 million in 2026 for construction; and $6 million in 2027 for startup.
The second project involves expanding the product range by starting production of small-diameter (from 4 mm) high-precision seamless stainless steel pipes. This project will enable entry into the hydrogen, semiconductor, medical, and aerospace industries. It is expected to expand Centravis’ product offerings, strengthening its position in the precision pipe market, which is highly profitable. Target markets: Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
The project includes acquiring equipment to ensure production.
This project is also ready for implementation: the scope of work is defined, and a preliminary tender process for budget preparation is complete. Equipment installation is planned at Centravis’ facility in Uzhhorod. It is noted that the project will be mainly developed using internal resources.
Total budget: $3.5 million, with $3 million to be raised.
Expected financial indicators: net present value (NPV) – $5.5 million, revenue in 2030 – $7.5 million, EBITDA in 2030 – $2.5 million.
Project launch timeline: two years.
In 2025, $0.2 million will be invested in design and construction, and $3.3 million in 2026 for startup.
Centravis increased production of seamless stainless steel pipes by 12.6% in 2024 compared to 2023 — up to 13.7 thousand tons. Almost all production was exported.
The company plans to increase production to 15 thousand tons in 2025.
Founded in 2000, Centravis ranks among the top ten global producers of seamless stainless steel pipes. Its main production facilities are located in Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk region). In 2023, the company opened a branch in Uzhhorod.
Centravis Ltd. holding was created on the basis of the closed joint-stock company “Nikopol Stainless Steel Pipe Plant,” service, and trading companies of LLC “Production and Commercial Enterprise “YUVIS.” The holding’s shareholders are members of the Atanasov family. Centravis Ltd. owns 100% of the shares of Centravis Production Ukraine.
