In October, Ukrainian drones destroyed 77,000 Russian targets. Both aerial and ground robotic systems are developing rapidly, becoming a key element of modern warfare and saving soldiers’ lives.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported this on Facebook.
“The priority scaling of drone system units brings concrete results – the number of destroyed enemy targets continues to grow. In October, our aerial drone systems struck 77,000 enemy targets. The best combat performance was demonstrated by FPV drones and heavy bombers,” Syrskyi noted.
According to him, the Armed Forces are actively increasing the use of ground robotic systems, which are becoming an integral part of modern technological warfare. In October alone, they delivered nearly 300,000 kilograms of supplies to frontline units, carried out evacuations of the wounded, performed mining operations, and executed combat missions.
The Commander-in-Chief also pointed out that the Russian forces are copying Ukrainian experience, forming drone system regiments and developing interceptor drones. Therefore, the Armed Forces must constantly improve to maintain technological superiority.
“We are increasing the effectiveness of our electronic warfare systems against enemy UAVs. We are working on both quality and quantity. In October, twice as many short-range EW systems were delivered to the front compared to September,” he added.
Syrskyi thanked the soldiers of the Drone Forces for every destroyed target and for their contribution to developing the drone capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
