The city council of Madison, Wisconsin, has decided that on July 19, the city will celebrate "DahaBrah Day" in honor of the Ukrainian ethnic group, which held its first concert in the United States there. This was reported by "DahaBrakha" themselves on their Instagram.

""DahaBrakha" has produced songs from many different regions of Ukraine to showcase Ukraine's cultural diversity and challenge Putin's rhetoric that Ukraine has no culture of its own"

The city council of Madison

We are performing in Madison, WI on July 19. Right there, we had our first American performance many years ago. In honor of this, and as a sign of respect for the Ukrainian people fighting for their freedom, the mayor of this beautiful city decided to declare July 19 as DakhaBrakha Day. We're moved to tears!
