Deep State confirms the reports from Russian sources that Russians have launched counterattacks in the Kursk region.
"The situation on the left flank of our grouping in Kursk has worsened," wrote a Ukrainian military public page.
According to their information, Russians began "active assault actions, first moving armored vehicles across the Seym River, and then across smaller rivers."
"Another strike occurred from the recently lost Kornevo towards Snagost," writes DS.
Earlier today, Russian military sources reported a series of counterattacks by the Russian army in the Kursk region.
Specifically, they claim that the Russians were able to push the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) back from Korenevo and also mentioned the start of battles for the UAF-controlled villages of Snagost and Apanasovka.
These two villages play an important role. By controlling them, along with several other settlements southeast of the Seym River, the UAF effectively "trapped" a group of Russian forces in the Glushkov district between the border and the Seym River (Ukrainian forces regularly strike the crossings over this river).
If the Russians manage to push the UAF southeast of the river, it will allow them to supply their units in the Glushkov district overland, which would improve logistics.
Russian military sources claim that the Russian army has fully regained control over Snagost, as well as Gordeevo, Vnezapnoe, Byakhovo, 10 Oktyabrya, and Viktorovka. They also posted videos of Ukrainian prisoners.
Ukraine has not officially commented on this. However, if the reports are accurate, the Russians have essentially unblocked their forces that were previously trapped in the Glushkov district of the Kursk region between the border and the Seym River.
