The local authorities of Vladivostok of the Primorye region of the Russian Federation are preparing for possible actions of mass disobedience.

These fears are related to the strong opposition of the local population to the actions and measures of mobilization in the region's territory. Currently, the local police and special services are planning measures to counter possible acts of disobedience and to strengthen the police regime in the region.

It is planned to check the performance of video surveillance systems of institutions and organizations of Vladivostok with remote access to representatives of law enforcement agencies. It is assumed that frame metal detectors will be installed at the entrance in the coming months, even at public events sanctioned by the authorities.

Currently, most of the local population does not support the so-called "special military operation" and mobilization measures on the region's territory. The reasons for this are the residence of a significant number of ethnic Ukrainians in the region and the losses of the Soviet Union during hostilities.
