Vadim Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, said this on the air of an information telethon. "Russia has begun to experience a shortage of ammunition. We know for certain that they are actively working with Iran. Yes, indeed, negotiations are underway with Myanmar, and with the countries of the African continent and the Middle East. They have now sent their delegations to the Ministry of Defense, Foreign Intelligence Services, other departments, and ministries to get as much ammunition and other weapons for themselves as possible," Skibitsky said.

According to him, Iran supplies Russia with ammunition. The Kremlin is also trying to get other types of weapons, in particular, new types of drones, as well as ballistic missiles, but Iran has so far taken a wait-and-see attitude. Iran is waiting for Russia's latest weapons, nuclear energy technologies, and missile programs.

Concerning Syria, the intelligence official noted that the regime of Bashar al-Assad is now dependent on Russia since the Russian contingent is in the country. "What can Syria give in return? There was a lot of information that they could be Syrian mercenaries in large numbers. To date, we overlook confirmation, and even more so, the presence of thousands of Syrians in the territory of the temporarily occupied regions of our state," Skibitsky added.

According to the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, from the territory of Syria, Russian weapons are periodically transported to Russia.
