Russia is scaling up propaganda efforts in the regions to halt the decline in the number of people willing to enlist in the army.

Representatives of the Russian regime in the regions have been instructed by the Kremlin to fulfill the spring draft plan and prevent its failure, as a decrease in the number of conscripts would mean a reduction in the number of people willing to sign contracts with the Russian army, which continues its genocidal war against Ukraine and occupation of our territories.

The intensification of informational influence on the population in Russian regions includes glorifying the military and spreading the narrative that conscription guarantees non-participation in combat operations against Ukraine.

To agitate, among other methods, the Russian railway is being utilized - passenger train and commuter train cars are being painted with militaristic prints, glorifying military service, Russian weapons, and equipment.

"Thus, Putin's Russia is essentially copying the methods of Bolshevik propaganda from a century ago with its "agit-trains"," informs the Main Intelligence Directorate
