Two months after the full implementation of the DELTA system at all levels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over 130,000 Russian targets have been verified as destroyed or damaged, 25% of which were Russian personnel.

This was reported by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.

“Two months after the implementation of the DELTA system across all levels of the Armed Forces: during this time, over 130,000 enemy targets have been verified as destroyed or damaged, 25% of them being enemy personnel,” he stated.

Shmyhal emphasized that the order to implement DELTA provided the Armed Forces with a legal basis for its widespread use.

During this period, automatic reporting and analytics in the DELTA system have also expanded:

  • For reconnaissance — military personnel can report detected targets at distances of more than 20 km from the front line, with additional incentives introduced for reconnaissance units.
  • For logistical missions using ground robotic systems.

“DELTA is increasingly moving toward a data-driven warfare concept, where analytics and battlefield information become an additional but indispensable tool for making critical decisions. A series of updates has already been implemented for AI-based automatic detection of enemy equipment,” the minister said.

According to Shmyhal, this mechanism allows for 70% accuracy in detecting unique Russian units, with an average detection time of 2.2 seconds. Work is also ongoing to launch night detection functionality.

“Today, DELTA helps the military act faster, more accurately, and more cohesively, becoming a true digital weapon. It is an example of Ukrainian innovation that is changing the battlefield and setting new standards for our partners,” he emphasized.
