Representatives of the Ukrainian Navy are participating in a planning conference for the preparation of the international exercises Sea Breeze 2024, one of the main topics of which will be mine countermeasure activities.
This was reported by the head of the Strategic Communications Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during the United News telethon.
"A planning conference is taking place regarding the joint international exercises within the 'Sea Breeze' series planned for this year, and we are currently discussing the details," said Pletenchuk.
He noted that the main theme remains mine countermeasure activities.
"Considering that our mine countermeasure ships are currently in Scotland, the future exercises will be conducted with the use of these units," added the spokesperson.
