Drone attack on Ukraine: 79 of 90 UAVs intercepted overnight

On the night of June 19 (from 6:00 p.m. on June 18), the Russian forces attacked with 90 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, Banderol types, as well as imitation drones of the “Parody” type, launched from the directions of Bryansk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data as of 08:30, air defense shot down or suppressed 79 UAVs of various types in the north, south, and east of the country.

Nine strike drones hit targets at eight locations, and debris from downed drones fell at eight additional locations.
