In January this year, drone production in Ukraine increased tenfold compared to last year. An exhibition of drones was organized for international partners at the "Ukrainian House."

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on Telegram.

"Ukraine is becoming a global leader in drone production. In January this year, drone production increased tenfold compared to last year. Investments in the Ukrainian defense industry strengthen our defense capabilities and enhance Europe's security," he said.

Shmyhal noted that the Ukrainian House hosted an exhibition of drones for Ukraine’s international partners.

Together with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, and representatives from the State Special Communications Service, he reviewed Ukraine's advanced drone models.

"Among Ukraine's developments are large strike copters that destroy Russian tanks, warehouses, and equipment. There are also reconnaissance drones that assist the military in planning missions, as well as UAVs capable of performing logistics, mine-laying, and kamikaze functions," the post read.

Attendees were also shown the consequences of destruction caused by enemy attacks, including on the Chornobyl sarcophagus, and the weapons used by Russia to strike Ukrainian infrastructure.

"The European Commissioners saw firsthand the Iranian Shahed strike UAV and its warhead, as well as the remains of the very drone that hit the Chernobyl confinement, along with the Russian 'Gerbera' drone often used by occupiers as a decoy to overload our air defense systems," the message stated.

According to the Ukrainian Prime Minister, their priority is to further develop cooperation between the EU and Ukraine in the defense sector, increase support for Ukraine's defense industry through additional funding, direct defense product purchases, and the creation of joint ventures with European defense companies.

"All of this is crucial for strengthening Ukraine's manufacturing capabilities," the Prime Minister emphasized.
