Four agro-processing plants and two power stations will be built in the “Carbon-Neutral Eco-Agro-Hub Podillia-Horodok” industrial park, located in the city of Horodok, Khmelnytskyi region. Covering an area of 150 hectares, it is currently the largest industrial park in Ukraine.
According to a Facebook post by Dmitry Kisilevskyi, a member of parliament and Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, the construction of two plants has already begun.
“The foundation piles have already been driven for the future vegetable oil and bioethanol plants. The next stage is the construction of industrial buildings. Equipment for both plants has already been purchased and is in the manufacturing stage,” the MP clarified.
Additionally, land work is underway at the site where a biogas plant, an animal feed plant, a combined heat and power plant (CHP) fueled by sunflower husks, and a 30-hectare solar power station will be located. This will create a full-cycle agro-processing complex, from raw materials to finished products, electricity, and gas.
Currently, over 70 pieces of equipment are operating on the industrial park’s territory. The completion of the construction, the commissioning of all processing plants and power stations, the infrastructure setup, and the laying of 7 kilometers of railway are scheduled for 2026. The park will create 780 jobs.
