The malicious actions of Russian spies in the UK are causing concern among British officials.

This was reported by British Defense Minister Grant Shapps on Twitter.

"The allegations of Russian malign activity in the UK are deeply concerning," the minister noted.

He added that anyone caught aiding foreign intelligence would be held accountable.

"The UK will never be deterred from backing Ukraine by Russia’s futile attempts to shake our resolve," Shapps emphasized.

It is worth noting that today, April 26, it became known that a trial has begun in the UK against 20-year-old Dylan Earl. The young man may have been working for Russian intelligence.

Presumably, he set fire to commercial property in London related to Ukraine. He also attempted to recruit for similar arson activities.

It is worth noting that Russian spies have been detained in European countries on multiple occasions. Their activities have been directed against Ukraine and Western aid to Ukrainian defenders.
