“How is Katia?” by Christina Tynkevych entered the competitive program of the International Film Festival in Santa Barbara

The North American film premiere will take place during the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, which will be held from February 8 to 18.

The world premiere of Christina Tynkevych’s debut feature film took place at the 75th Locarno Film Festival in the “Concorso Cineasti del presente” competition program. The film won two awards at the festival: a special Ciné+ jury prize and a prize for best acting for Anastasia Karpenko.

The film “How is Katia?” tells about the emergency doctor Anna, who tries to find justice in this imperfect world.

The film was produced by EVOS FILM. The producers were Olga Matat and Vlad Dudko.

The film was created with the support of the State Film Agency of Ukraine (the film became one of the winners of the 11th competitive selection of the State Cinema in the “feature-length debuts” category). The international promotion of the tape takes place with the support of the Ukrainian Institute within the framework of the “proMOTION” program.
