Hungary once again got involved in a scandal related to the war unleashed by Russia in Ukraine. This time it's about a textbook spreading propaganda. And the Foreign Ministry has already reacted to it.

As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs speaker, Oleg Nikolenko, noted, the Ukrainian department could not ignore the geography textbook. It is used in Hungary to teach a school subject for 8th-grade students.
Nikolenko noted that Ukrainian diplomats had a meeting at the Hungarian Foreign Ministry the day before. During it, representatives of our state "emphasized the unacceptability of a combination of false and distorted facts about Ukraine."
The Minister of Foreign Affairs representative stressed that our state requires a response as soon as possible. First of all, by removing from the geography textbook information that has nothing to do with the truth.
The Hungarian geography textbook says that the Carpathians are the only mountain system in Ukraine. Moreover, a civil war continues on their territory.
The icing on the cake, so to speak, was the criticism of conditions in Ukraine. Like, Ukraine is a bad place to live. And worst of all, the textbook compilers complain that the Hungarians are also oppressed here.
