The international financial service NovaPay intends to launch credit lines for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), tentatively in June, and in the near future, issue credit cards, according to the company's sales director, Tetiana Vikanova.
"If we talk about credit products, we will have credit lines for entrepreneurs, and now, in the near future, we will introduce a credit card," she said at the Digital Lending 2024 conference initiated by the Ukrainian Association of Fintech and Innovative Companies in Kyiv.
Vikanova clarified that the SME credit line product is currently in the development stage, and its launch is expected around June of this year.
In addition, the sales director reminded that a month ago, NovaPay implemented the opening of accounts for individual entrepreneurs (IEs).
"Already four thousand IEs have opened accounts with us and are actively using them," Vikanova commented on the demand for the new service.
According to her, NovaPay aims to attract at least half a million clients and 50,000 IEs this year.
"If we talk about the three-year strategy, it's onboarding 3 million clients, international payments through our mobile application, post-payment. And not only within Ukraine. And, of course, it is also lending," Vikanova shared the company's plans.
