In March, the number of shellings of Kharkiv by Russian forces doubled compared to February.

This was reported by the Mayor Ihor Terekhov on social media.

"In total, our situational center recorded 42 attacks and 172 air raid alerts — an average of five times a day," wrote Terekhov.

The last few weeks have shown a change in Russia's tactics. Shaheds are entering Kharkiv's airspace in groups and launching combined strikes on residential areas, critical infrastructure, and business sites. And 30-40 minutes later, when rescuers, medics, police, and municipal services are already working at the sites, the Russian forces targets them again.

"A cold and cynical calculation: more casualties, more destruction, more human fear. In the course of the month — 99 injured, including 12 children. Two people died. Our condolences to the families," wrote Terekhov.
