In Odessa, assessed the risk of the capture of the city by Russian troops

The risk of an amphibious assault remains, the Military administration speaker noted.
The Russians have no chance of capturing Odessa.
Confidence in this was expressed by the speaker of the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Sergei Bratchuk, at a briefing in the Ukraine media center, commenting on the information of the Bloomberg agency.
“We understand our strategic nature. We understand that we are the sea gates of the state. The defense system is being improved every day. It has been built since February 24 so that not a single enemy could penetrate here either by land or by sea,” Serhiy Bratchuk emphasized.
“Today, when we talk about an amphibious landing operation, this risk remains because there is the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation. But so far there are no preparations for this operation. In addition, it must be provided: from land or from the air. There is no enemy advancement on land, on the contrary, in the southern direction, albeit slowly, our Armed Forces are advancing,” he added.
Recall, according to the Bloomberg news agency, the Kremlin still hopes to seize the initiative on the battlefield and, after mobilization, again move the army to Kharkov and Odessa.
Now the invaders are attacking the southern regions with Iranian drones.

The Russian president has a lot on balls saying that the Ukraine are just a bunch of nazis. Seeing that the ONLY NAZIS is the president of Russia Putin needs to tell the World he is the only one acting just like adof Hitler Putin is the one and only Nazi basterd
The article above is correct that”We (Odesa) are the Sea Gates of the State.” Control (without destruction) of Odesa nad the Black Sea, and hopefully the same for Mykolaev and recovery of Kherson is in my opinion the most important goal for the State, it’s people and the Ukrainian Military. I put the importance of defending those 3 cities/areas right up there with defending Kiev. We all know that the elections of a scam… fixed… enforced, and that the World will support Russia’s defeat and ouster of those areas. May the Great Spirit and the People’s of Ukraine and the World support Ukraine and demand and assist with Russia’s complete defeat.
It’s nice to hear Ukrainian self-confidence about holding Odessa, but that is only a statement of steely determination that is most admirable, but not reassuring. The uncertainty lies in the fact that every heroic retake by Ukraine cost in irreplicable men and hard to replace equipment. After the silliest imaginable Russian armor column heading to Kiev was in large part pulverized, the Russians seemed to focus on their Southern costal route. )nce the Southwestern most bridgehead is secured, the way North cutting off thre border with Romania will not be a major effort. From there on in, the issue is how to spring from this base northward so as to cut off the Polish-Ukrainian border, the aortic route for NATO supplies to Southern Ukraine from the US via Romania?
Worst still, supplied by sea and the transported Northward to conquer Moldova or at least to fill up supply bases in Transnistria, Russian forces can quickly find themselves in Ukrainian territory– to the North of Moldova, cutting off or at least harassing severely Western supply of the Ukrainians through Poland. There is no treaty basis by which NATO can block all of this. It is all a matter of will and value of victory in Ukraine for both sides. If Free Ukraine does mean that much to us, then NATO can enter the Frey to protect its supply lines to the Ukrainian Government. If not. then a Russian march North from the Odessa region must be preemptively rendered impossible while we continue to support the Ukrainian defense with NATO supplies via Poland. Nevertheless, denying the Ukrainians air power may seal its fate un blood. One may argue that to five old MIGS to Ukraine might have been too provocative, but the fact remains that a Russian push East and then North creates a very precarious situation for us all in that the support we gave to Ukrainian resistance may in the final analysis cause them severely bloody defeat after a long blood letting while resting Russia with the aid we give. Furthermore, it seems unimaginable that NATO would allow Putin to throw anything he wants into the fight while so severely limiting the SITTING DUCK in this equation, the nation of Ukraine, at the mercy of anything and everything short of nuclear ordinance to conquer a universally recognized neighbor. This sounds like Vietnam and Afghanistan, both wherein the reason for initial full support was still totally applicable though we just “bugged out.” The only difference is that we continued support Ukraine’s glorious and amazing forces until Russia scared us off by finding a way to cut off our supply lines.
