In Sumy, the number of people injured as a result of the Russian missile strike on March 24 has risen to 101.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram.

According to operational data, 101 people were injured in the missile strike. 78 adults and 23 children sought medical assistance.

14 adults and 16 children are being treated in the hospital. One adult and one child are in a stable but serious condition.

"In Sumy, emergency recovery operations are ongoing. Special equipment has been deployed for unloading building materials. In the damaged multi-story residential buildings, rescuers are dismantling hazardous structures. K9 teams are also involved at the scene," the message by the Rescuers of Sumy Region reads.

 

It is also known that 26 buildings of various purposes and ownership forms were damaged, including: three schools, a kindergarten, a vocational education institution, an interschool training and production complex, a hospital, 16 residential buildings (on Leonid Bykov Street, Ivan Vyhovskyi Street, Remisnycha Street, Metalurhiv Street, Polish Street), a restaurant and entertainment complex, an auto service station, and an administrative building of a limited liability company (LLC).

In total, more than 3,000 windows were shattered, and the roofs of eight apartment buildings and four private houses were damaged. The roofs of four apartment buildings require major repairs.
