In Odessa, from June 14-16, the international "Black Sea Security Forum" is taking place, focusing on discussing the security situation in the Black Sea region.

Key speakers at the event include former French President François Hollande, former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations (2017-2019) Kurt Volker, British Army officer Colonel Richard Justin Kemp, and U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.

Alongside local and regional government representatives, these dignitaries are discussing security issues in the Odessa region and the Black Sea, including food, environmental, energy, and logistical security.

The main mission of the forum is to establish an annual international platform for addressing security challenges in the Black Sea, an arena of intense geopolitical confrontation.
