More than 21,000 people were evacuated from the temporarily uncontrolled territories of Kherson region, Kharkiv region, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the Crimean Autonomous Republic. Almost every third of them is a child, Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Occupied Territories of Ukraine, said on the Rada TV channel.

In particular, more than 8,000 citizens were evacuated from the Kherson region, and more than 9,000 from the Zaporizhia region.

She emphasized that today evacuation from the frontline regions and from TOT is the most reliable way to protect yourself and your family.

It should be noted, since the beginning of August, more than 7,000 Ukrainians, including 1,500 children, as well as several hundred elderly people and representatives of less mobile population groups, have been evacuated from Donetsk region.
