We continue to open new opportunities for Ukrainian exporters in foreign markets. In particular, we promote Ukrainian economic interests in the large consumer market of Africa. Consistent efforts bring concrete results for Ukrainian business. Today, this is additional access for Ukrainian livestock companies to the Libyan market

Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrainian Foreign Minister

The form of the certificate is available on the official web portal of the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the section International Cooperation, Certificates for export from Ukraine.

Libya is a country with which we cooperate in many product lines. Currently, Ukrainian entrepreneurs have been able to export pedigree cattle to Libya, which is an important item of Ukrainian agricultural exports. This means that the business has received new opportunities for growth

Vladyslava Magaletska, Head of the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection

It should be noted, earlier this year the competent authorities of Ukraine and Libya agreed the certificate for export of milk and dairy products from Ukraine. The countries have also agreed on forms of certificates for the export of poultry meat, poultry products and cattle for slaughter from Ukraine.

Background

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection are working together to open new markets for Ukrainian exports, providing support to producers and removing technical barriers to trade, as well as providing state guarantees for compliance with requirements of partner countries.

The Exporters and Investors Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (EIC) is a platform where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs accumulates information on investment and trade opportunities from around the world, as well as facilitates business contacts between Ukrainian exporters and importers abroad.
