The overwhelming majority of Polish citizens (85%) believe that the sanctions imposed by the European Union on Russia are not effective enough.
This is according to a survey conducted by the United Surveys center for the online portal Wirtualna Polska.
According to the results, only 7.7% of respondents consider the sanctions imposed by the EU on Russia to be sufficiently effective in limiting its aggression against Ukraine. In contrast, 84.8% of respondents hold the opposite view. 7.5% of survey participants were undecided.
It is worth noting that both supporters of pro-government and opposition political forces consider the sanctions against Russia to be insufficient.
The survey was conducted between December 6-8 using mixed methods among 1,000 adult citizens of Poland.
