In July 2025, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine commissioned nine new electronic warfare (EW) and electronic intelligence (ELINT) systems for the Armed Forces, with 90% of them produced by the Ukrainian defense industry.

This was reported by the Main Directorate for Lifecycle Support of Armaments and Military Equipment.

The Ministry continues to replenish the Armed Forces’ EW arsenal with new systems designed to meet frontline requirements. In modern warfare, the success of military operations largely depends on the effectiveness of the EW/ELINT systems used by Ukrainian defenders.

Over the first seven months of 2025, the Ministry commissioned nearly 80 EW/ELINT systems, compared to over 150 last year, almost all developed by Ukrainian engineers.
