This year, the Burning Man festival in the USA will take place from August 24 to September 1.
This was announced by light designer, founder, and art director of Expolight and Kabluka Light & Digital Sculptures, Mykola Kabluka, in his post. He also shared the first details about the project in an interview with Forbes Ukraine.
Burning Man annually gathers tens of thousands of people from around the world, transforming the desert into a temporary city of art, self-expression, and interaction. One of the festival’s hallmarks is its large-scale sculptures and performances that emphasize its core values — self-reliance, creativity, and respect for nature.
“It’s not only a great honor but also a responsibility to represent Ukraine among leading global artists and brands. It’s further proof that our art has weight, a voice, and a future,” emphasized the artist.

His meditative installation, The Point of Unity, explores the interaction of light, space, and human perception. The installation is based on optical effects that study light and its relationship with space. It’s as if we “root” the sky into the earth — so the sky exists both above and beneath the viewer. This creates a sense of wholeness that inspires artists and helps people feel part of something greater and infinite.
"Everyone is invited to touch the essence — to become part of the installation by immersing themselves in the play of reflections, sounds, and stars. By day, it reflects the sky in the sand; by night, it opens a space for silence, awareness, and interaction. Visitors perceive it simultaneously through sight, sound, and touch, unlocking new dimensions of presence," emphasized the artist.

The Point of Unity reminds us that change in the world begins with ourselves. In this sacred moment, we witness the intangible becoming tangible, as light descending from above takes shape on the earth — and we find ourselves inside this holistic process.
