NIBULON and Safe Pro Group Inc. have signed a memorandum of cooperation to implement a number of initiatives with strategic importance for the development of mine action in Ukraine. Among these initiatives is the development and improvement of non-technical survey methodologies (NTS), which will enhance the accuracy and efficiency of identifying hazardous areas.
Another important aspect of the partnership will be the exchange of knowledge and training resources, which will contribute to the professional development of specialists in both organizations. This will expand NIBULON’s capabilities in the field of mine action and accelerate the process of clearing agricultural lands.
The partners also intend to conduct a series of coordinated media campaigns to raise public awareness of the demining problem. These campaigns will demonstrate the impact of technologies and garner broader support from international partners for humanitarian demining efforts.
One of the key technologies to be integrated into NIBULON’s operations will be the Spotlight AI landmine and unexploded ordnance detection solution from Safe Pro Group Inc.
The use of AI to analyze aerial imagery will enable faster and more cost-effective assessments of land contamination and help prioritize areas for demining. This approach not only enhances operator safety but also reduces demining costs, which is especially important in the context of the extensive contamination of Ukrainian land by mines and unexploded ordnance.
“This partnership is a significant step toward creating an effective demining system that combines advanced technologies and international experience. The implementation of innovations will make the demining process more accessible, faster, and safer,” said Mykhailo Rizak, Director of Government Relations at NIBULON.
“The agreement with NIBULON is crucial to our mission of supporting global food security and the safety of those deprived of their land and livelihoods, as we strive to restore Ukraine’s agricultural productivity as quickly as possible. Our own artificial intelligence technologies and algorithms continue to demonstrate how new tools can safely accelerate the demining process, which is a critical first step in land clearing and global land liberation operations,” said Den Erdberg, CEO and Chairman of Safe Pro Group Inc.
Just as with its grain export operations, NIBULON follows the principle of building effective models of operation with minimal costs, while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Thanks to its cooperation with Safe Pro Group Inc., the company plans to scale its demining efforts to restore fertile lands for Ukrainian farmers more quickly. This will contribute to the restoration of Ukraine’s agricultural potential and ensure food security both domestically and internationally.
