The concert for Khachaturian’s violin was dedicated to our compatriot, the most famous violinist in the world – David Oistrakh. During the Second World War, the concert was broadcast on all radio stations, and in the last years of his life, Charlie Chaplin called this work his favourite.

Hobart Earle, People’s Artist of Ukraine, is behind the conductor’s desk.
