President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with President of the German Bundestag Julia Klöckner.
The Head of State thanked Julia Klöckner and the entire Bundestag for allocating €11.5 billion in defense assistance to Ukraine for next year.
One of the key topics of the meeting was the discussion of mechanisms that would make it possible to use frozen Russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine, as well as the relevant procedures. The President emphasized that Ukraine appreciates Germany’s leadership on this issue.
The meeting also focused on coordination of efforts with American and European partners to end the war, establish a dignified peace, and guarantee security.
