The logistics operator "Meest Export," which has been operating in Ukraine for over 30 years, has been added to the Unified State Register of Postal Operators. Vyacheslav Lysenko, a shareholder of Meest China, informed the Interfax-Ukraine agency about this.
The relevant decision was made on August 9th by the National Commission for State Regulation in the Fields of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum, and Postal Services.
As explained by the company, the inclusion of "Meest Export" in the state register of postal operators will enable it to offer services to businesses engaged in e-commerce.
"Meest has been operating in the postal services market for over 30 years, both in the B2C and C2C segments. We see high demand from internet shops, marketplaces, and especially from small and medium-sized businesses that are looking for alternative markets for their products. Drawing on our international e-commerce experience, we decided to establish a separate business direction focused on export through the postal channel," said Lysenko.
Furthermore, he mentioned that the operator will concentrate on creating a new product for small and medium-sized businesses interested in expanding their product sales to European, US, and Chinese markets.
"The product will consist of three solutions: easy integration with international marketplaces, access to a customer base and promotion, fast logistics and customs procedures, as well as quick refunds," Lysenko specified.
He added that the product to be introduced to the market could be described as a "concierge service" for businesses exporting goods from Ukraine
