As of February 21, the volume of grain and legume exports from Ukraine in the 2024/25 marketing year reached 28.2 million tons, marking a 2% (0.6 million tons) increase compared to the same period last season, according to data from the State Customs Service published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Wheat exports amounted to approximately 11.7 million tons, exceeding last year's volume by 9% and accounting for 72% of the total wheat quota (16.2 million tons) agreed upon in the grain memorandum.
Barley exports reached 2.1 million tons, reflecting a 36% increase year-on-year.
Rye shipments totaled 10.8 thousand tons—11 times higher than last season’s 1 thousand tons.
Corn exports stood at around 14 million tons, representing a 7% decrease compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 46.4 thousand tons, down 36% from last year.
