During the night of June 13 (starting at 10:30 p.m. on June 12), the Russian forces launched an attack using 55 Shahed-type strike UAVs and decoy drones of various types from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), as well as 4 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh and Rostov regions (Russia).
The main targets of the airstrike were the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
The air assault was repelled by Ukrainian Defense Forces using aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and drone system units, and mobile fire groups.
As of 9:00 a.m., air defense forces had neutralized 43 Shahed-type UAVs (and other types of drones) over the north, east, and south of the country. Of these, 28 were shot down by firepower and 15 were lost or suppressed by electronic warfare.
Russian airstrikes were recorded hitting 9 locations.
