Russian troops attacked Ukraine with drones overnight on July 25. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces successfully downed 25 out of 38 Shahed-131/136 drones.
According to Commander of the Air Forces Mykola Oleshchuk, the drones targeted infrastructure across several regions, including southern Odessa and central Ukraine.
Air defense operations were conducted in Odessa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Zhytomyr, and Cherkasy regions. The counteroffensive involved anti-aircraft missile troops, Electronic Warfare (EW) units, and mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
In addition to the downed drones, three Shaheds were reportedly lost in Romanian territory after crossing the border.
