Air defense neutralized two Iskander missiles and 32 drones last night

On the night of August 13 (starting from 21:00 on August 12), the Russian forces attacked with 49 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Shatalovo (Russia), as well as with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Russia’s Kursk region.

The strike UAVs targeted Donetsk, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions, while the missiles targeted Poltava region.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 34 targets: two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 32 Shahed-type UAVs and various decoy drones over the north and east of the country.

Strikes from 17 UAVs were recorded at 15 locations.
