Anastasia Todorova, a kayaker from Yuzhny, who took part in the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro, won the right to participate in the 2020 Olympic Games (to be held in 2021).
The championship was held in Dnipro, the press service of the Odessa branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine reported.
27-year-old Anastasia, who represents FGC Khimik and FST Dynamo, achieved success at distances of 500 meters on the second day of the competition and 200 meters on the third.
In the first form, she showed the second result (1.59.7), in the sprint she won bronze (44.23), and in total she became the second - 2.43.93.
Four more athletes, who entered the top five, received the right to participate in the Games: Maria Povkh (Volyn region), Lyudmila Kuklinovskaya (Poltava), Yulia Yuriychuk (Kievskaya), Maria Kichasova-Skorik (Poltava).
Poltava resident Diana Tanko became a substitute in the Olympic team.
Anastasia Todorova is the fourth athlete from Odessa region to win an Olympic license. In addition to her, trap shooting master Irina Malovichko, weightlifter Anastasia Lysenko and karateka Anzhelika Terlyuga will go to Tokyo.
