The Russian army took the area of ââââour counteroffensive for 120 days in a row, the adviser to the OP noted.
Aleksey Arestovich, the adviser to the OP, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out an offensive operation with forces that were much smaller than those of the occupiers.
He shared this in his Telegram.
"The Russian army took the area of ââour counteroffensive for 120 days in a row. At the same time, the Russian military was in fundamentally more significant numbers, when for three months in a row, they dumped 45-60 thousand shells per day on our positions, and we could hardly respond with 4000-6000, and they had 10-15 of their own," Arestovich said.
He added that the Ukrainian defenders "liberated this territory in four days with fewer forces than the defenders."
The Ukrainian Armed Forces officially launched a counteroffensive in the south at the end of August. As of September 9, according to the Institute for the Study of War calculations, the defenders recaptured 2.5 thousand square kilometers from the enemy.
