Ukraine is already receiving arms supplies under the lease. According to Oleksiy Arestovych, an adviser to the head of the President's Office, Ukraine will accumulate weapons under the land lease by August.
However, even without a land lease, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully repel the occupiers and counterattacked.
Arestovich expressed this opinion in a conversation with Russian human rights activist and journalist Mark Feygin.
"We will grind the offensive potential of the Russian army without land lease. Just more blood, with the return of some territories, and judging by the way the Russians are advancing, maybe not. But we will still have to fight," Arestovich said.
By the way, according to politician, the Armed Forces are already demonstrating their capabilities. Ukrainian defenders have partially liberated the territories of Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts without a land lease and will continue to liberate Ukrainian territories from the occupiers.
"I am still a cautious optimist here. I believe that the land lease will come, it will be accumulated by August. We will see something interesting in the form of a counteroffensive. Because the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already demonstrating their ability to partially liberate Kharkiv region, Kherson region and so on without any land lease," the politician added.
According to Arestovich, the Ukrainians have no choice but to win. Otherwise, what happened in Bucha will be all over Ukraine.
