The government has decided to include the AZORTECH industrial park in the city of Andrushivka, Berdychiv district, Zhytomyr region, in the Register of Industrial Parks. This is the 106th park in the Register. Its establishment is expected to create over 520 new jobs.

“Industrial parks are one of the key mechanisms for economic recovery and for stimulating investment in the processing industry. New industrial parks provide modern production facilities, launch enterprises into operation, create jobs, and ensure stable tax revenues for local communities. The state supports investors through an incentive program that helps build infrastructure faster and reduces barriers to business development,” said Vitalii Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.

The AZORTECH industrial park has been established in Zhytomyr region for a period of 30 years. Covering an area of 21.8 hectares, it will host processing industry enterprises, including:

  • Bioethanol production
  • Production of finished animal feeds
  • Production of starches and starch-based products
  • Production of flour-milling and cereal products
  • Other types of processing

Investments in the park’s development will amount to approximately UAH 838.76 million (USD 20.46 million). AZOR-LTD, the company initiating the park, plans to invest USD 6.14 million of its own funds and expand financing through external investments.

Inclusion of the AZORTECH industrial park in the Register will enhance the investment appeal of Zhytomyr region, increase revenues to local budgets, and contribute to the development of Ukraine’s processing industry.

The number of registered industrial parks in Ukraine continues to grow, creating new opportunities for business and local communities.
