Number of injured in Izium rises to 38, including a child in critical condition
The number of injured in Izium, Kharkiv region, has increased to 38, with seven people hospitalized, including a child in extremely critical condition.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
"Three people are in extremely critical condition, the most severe being a 15-year-old girl. A total of seven people have been hospitalized so far, but the number may rise," said Syniehubov.
According to him, the total number of casualties has reached 38.
"The missile's arrival time was so short that people didn't even have time to take cover," Syniehubov noted.
The State Emergency Service reported on Facebook that search and rescue operations at the site of the Russian missile strike have been completed.
On the afternoon of February 4, the Russian army launched a ballistic missile strike on the central part of Izium, killing five people. By 13:40, 34 injuries had been reported, including a child.
The missile hit an administrative building, damaging other administrative offices and residential buildings.
