Almost all equipment was returned to the places of permanent deployment.

From October 15 to October 22, 2022, Belarus withdrew the vast majority of military equipment from the border areas and returned it to the places of permanent deployment. This was reported by the monitoring group "Belarusian Hajun".

According to the group, the main forces were withdrawn from Brest, Zyabrovka, Yelsk, Lelchits, Ivanovo, Stolin, Luninets and Vitebsk. The movement of military echelons of the following units was recorded:

  • of the 6th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade (6th Specialized Motorized Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus) from the Brestsky training ground and from Zyabrovka to the place of permanent deployment in Grodno.
  • 11th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade (11th Motorized Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus) from Yelsk and Lelchits to a permanent location in Slonim.
  • 5th Separate Special Forces Brigade (5th Special Forces Special Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus) from Ivanovo to Borisov and from Luninets to Zaslonovo.
  • 103rd Separate Guards Airborne Brigade (103rd Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus) from Vitebsk to Zyabrovka.

"In fact, today the monitoring group sees that most of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus equipment from the border areas returned to their places of permanent deployment. Except for the 103rd Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, which arrived in Zyabrovka. The rest of the forces were deployed along the main roads," the report emphasized.

Transfer of equipment in Belarus

In early October, 64 platforms arrived in Belarus to transfer Russian military equipment. They were intended for loading and export to the Russian Federation of reactivated wheeled and tracked military equipment.

At the same time, journalists analyzed satellite images from the Belarusian Zyabrovka airfield and concluded that Russian troops and new equipment were arriving there. Satellite images from October 16 showed that the number of military trucks at the airfield had increased, and the territory of the military camp had expanded.
