The civilian population of Russia is likely experiencing the impact of the Kremlin's war against Ukraine, particularly in the healthcare sector.
According to British intelligence cited by the UK Ministry of Defence, Russian media reports indicate that the country's population is facing difficulties accessing medical services nationwide.
There are also reports of a shortage of medical supplies, including broad-spectrum antibiotics.
"The war is likely to be contributing significantly to this situation, as hospitals are treating the wounded personnel. The government is also beign forces to reduce the civilian health estate nationwide, due to a lack of clinical staff and financial pressure," the British intelligence summary states.
