The Russian forces are redeploying its units from Luhansk region to the Kharkiv direction. Additionally, there is an increase in suicides among Russian servicemen.
This was stated by the spokesperson of the Kharkiv Operational-Tactical Group, Vitaliy Sarantsev, during the United News telethon.
"The most recent unit being deployed to Kharkiv region is the 22nd Motorized Rifle Regiment (Russian Armed Forces), which is moving from Luhansk region. The enemy is also conducting internal rotations, involving volunteer units or even foreign citizens, whom they either coerce or deceive into fighting. These could be representatives from the Middle East, Central Asia, or African countries. They may be senior students who are threatened with being sent to northern regions of the country if they refuse to fight. They could also be deceived migrant workers who were promised Russian citizenship if they participate in combat," the spokesperson said, adding that the invaders do not receive the promised high wages, as they often do not survive even to the first payment.
Sarantsev also reported that suicides among Russian soldiers have become more frequent.
"There are very frequent cases of suicides among servicemen who have been injured. They understand that no one will pull them out from under fire, that they will not receive help, that they cannot move forward or back, so they simply end their lives by suicide," the spokesperson said.
