Drone debris damages power lines and around 100 market pavilions in Kharkiv

On the night of February 6, debris from a downed Russian drone damaged power lines in the Novobavarsky district of Kharkiv.

As reported by the head of the regional administration, Oleh Synehubov, shared the details on Facebook, stating:

"On February 6, at 01:00, in Kharkiv's Novobavarsky district, debris from a Shahed drone caused damage to the electrical contact lines," said Synehubov. He also mentioned that on the evening of February 5, in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv, around 100 market pavilions were damaged by falling Shahed drone debris. No casualties were reported.

 

In Kupiansk, at 11:00, a 43-year-old man was injured in a shelling attack. At 19:00, a 57-year-old volunteer was injured when an explosive device dropped from a drone landed on his vehicle; he was hospitalized.

In the village of Borshchova, part of the Lypetska territorial community in the Kharkiv region, a drone strike hit the ground in an open area of the forest.

According to Synehubov, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled four attacks by Russian troops in the Vovchansk and Kozacha Lopan areas.

On the Kupiansk front, eight attacks occurred in the past 24 hours. Ukraine's defense forces repelled assaults near Zahryzove, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Nova Kruhlyakivka.

Synehubov also reported that, as part of increased evacuation measures, 15 people were evacuated from the Kupiansk and Borivskyi directions.
