The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia announced the expulsion of the Russian diplomat for "undermining the country's security" and spreading Russian propaganda.
"The diplomat in question has been engaged in directly and actively undermining Estoniaâs security and constitutional order, spreading propaganda that justifies Russiaâs military action and causing divisions in Estonian society," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia recognized the Russian's activities as violating the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The diplomat must leave Estonia by March 29. Russia did not comment on the announcement of the Russian diplomat as persona non grata.
