Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, while in the Zhytomyr region, laid the foundation for the first two houses for families who came to the city from the Kherson region.
He shared this on Twitter.
"In Zhytomyr to lay a cornerstone for the next two family houses. It’s a significant step forward in rebuilding," he noted.
According to the Estonian official, by Christmas, three large families with foster children will have a safe and warm home.
Additionally, Margus Tsahkna met with Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets to discuss cooperation aimed at returning children forcibly taken to Russia back to Ukraine.
