The Finnish government announced on Monday that it is preparing to send military aid to Ukraine worth €143 million.
This was reported by Yle, citing a government press release.
The value of this batch is estimated at approximately €143 million, which will bring the total value of defense assistance Finland has provided to Ukraine to €2.8 billion.
According to Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen (NCP), the latest batch will include defense equipment produced in Finland.
It is reported that the Finnish Ministry of Defense launched a programme this spring to distribute orders for military equipment for Ukraine among Finnish defense sector companies.
“Finnish equipment is of high quality and it has been proven to work in harsh conditions,” the press release states.
