During the defense of Ukraine, the Kharkiv region has become the second home for the "Freedom of Russia" legion. The fighters promise to retaliate against terrorists for every strike on Kharkiv.

"We know the road well from Kharkiv to the border with the Belgorod region. At night, we will recognize our location by road reflectors and the rustling of leaves. During the defense of Ukraine and battles in the Kharkiv region, this area has become our second home," the legion's press service noted.
The fighters emphasize that they have no intention of standing by as occupying forces erase populated areas of the Kharkiv region and Kharkiv itself from the face of the earth.
"The legion will not remain silent. We already have enough resources to respond appropriately to all Putin's dogs who launch missiles at the peaceful people of Ukraine. Each of your strikes on Kharkiv will now have consequences many times over," the legion adds.
The fighters note that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has turned Belgorod into a military zone. The legion plans to rectify this and demilitarize the entire border region so that peaceful residents can sleep peacefully.
"We have families and friends in Belgorod, and we are more interested than anyone else in ensuring their safety. The longer the war lasts, the more strikes will fall on the peaceful city of Kharkiv, which sleeps - the faster and deeper the war will move into Russian territory," the fighters concluded.
