On Tuesday, July 23, the Ukrainian Defense Forces inflicted significant damage on the Russian ferry "Slavyanin" in the port of Kavkaz, located in the Krasnodar Krai.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
"Today, the grouping of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with units from other components of the Defense Forces, inflicted substantial damage to the enemy ferry 'Slavyanin' in the port of Kavkaz."
The General Staff noted that the occupiers were using this ferry for transporting railway cars, vehicles, and containers for military purposes.
Furthermore, "Slavyanin" is the third and last railway ferry that Russia had in the region.
