Google has presented a new section of the "Ukraine is Here" project on Google Arts & Culture. This was announced in a Google blog.
The project includes over 1,000 new images, more than 90 new stories, over 250 3D models of museum artifacts and landmarks, a 360° video of a theatrical performance, and 3 new virtual galleries.
"Today, Google presents a new section of the 'Ukraine is Here' project on Google Arts & Culture and invites everyone interested to explore the unique collection that reveals the richness of Ukrainian culture, art, and history to the world. For the first time, all of this has been collected on one platform, providing free access to users worldwide to the treasures of Ukrainian museums, and the online format allows for quick exploration and viewing of what would take days or even weeks in real life," writes Google.
In particular, the new virtual gallery "Cossacks in the Painting Collection of the Lviv Historical Museum" allows users to explore the phenomenon of the Cossacks, warriors, and defenders of their native land. Users can also discover modern Ukrainian ballet in a 360-degree format through an interactive story about a new type of performance at the Odessa Opera House titled "Fates."
All the new content of the project can be viewed on Google Arts & Culture and in the app for iOS and Android.
