Greece has expressed readiness to contribute to the restoration of Ukraine, particularly in Odessa, the historical center of which has been included in UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites with Greece's support.
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, during a briefing with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"Greece will be present in the titanic efforts of reconstruction and recovery of your country, leveraging our extensive experience in the construction sector, through public-private partnerships, utilizing our robust capabilities in digitalization, healthcare, and cultural heritage preservation—with a focus on Odessa, the historical center of which has been included in UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites with Greece's support," noted the Prime Minister of Greece.
He also highlighted that Greece could assist in restoring historically damaged buildings in the city center, a result of the war.
